Yes. Every price on Northgate Music Co. includes UK VAT at 20%, and a full VAT invoice is emailed with your dispatch confirmation. There are no import duties or handling fees on UK orders.

Will it need a set-up when it arrives?

No. Our workshop completes a full set-up before dispatch — truss rod, action, intonation and fresh strings — and includes the measurements in the box. UK humidity changes may call for a small seasonal tweak later on.

What happens if I don't get on with it?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund. We email you a free UK return label, and refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 working days of the item arriving back with us.

What warranty cover is included?

Two years parts and labour against manufacturing defects, on top of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Consumables such as strings, reeds, heads and batteries are covered for 90 days.

Expertly crafted acoustic guitar

While the TransAcoustic's electronics deserve acclaim, the guitar is a wonderfully made acoustic instrument in its own right. With a single strum you'll notice the detail and warmth of the guitar's A.R.E.-treated solid spruce top. Yamaha's A.R.E. technology artificially ages the wood, achieving the clarity of tone found on great vintage instruments. The LL-TA's back and sides are crafted from solid rosewood, which imbues the instrument with powerful low and high frequencies. And Irvine Art & Music guitarists agree that the ebony appointments add a touch of class.

Unamplified ambiance

The Yamaha TransAcoustic's calling card is its onboard reverb and chorus effects. What sets them apart from other instruments with onboard effects is that these don't require any external amplification. Engage the effects via the simple-to-use controls, and it's like you're playing in a rich, ambient venue. No amp or PA required. And when it's time for the gig, you can access those same great tones plugged in through the guitar's System70 pickup system.

Yamaha's L body shape

Yamaha's L body style has been an extremely popular take on the famed dreadnought-type acoustic guitar since its introduction decades ago. The design features a wider lower bout that extends the low-end frequencies and projection of the instrument without having to resort to a significantly larger body. The TransAcoustic's LL-TA L body has a bold sound that you'll find equally adept at powerful strumming as it is for flatpicked single-note lines.
