The bridge is fitted, the sound post checked and the strings fitted and played in before dispatch, so it arrives ready for a quick tune rather than a workshop visit.

What happens if I don't get on with it?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund. We email you a free UK return label, and refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 working days of the item arriving back with us.

What warranty cover is included?

Two years parts and labour against manufacturing defects, on top of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Consumables such as strings, reeds, heads and batteries are covered for 90 days.

Play silently with full-bodied tone

At Irvine Art & Music, we well know that silent practice all too often means tonal compromise. Enter the SV-250 Silent Violin Pro. Its piezo pickup captures the rich resonance of its body, along with vibrato and other nuances. Beyond that, a second bridge pickup picks up string vibrations, ensuring that attack and bowing subtleties are accurately reproduced. A pickup blend control allows you to find the optimal balance between the two pickups.

Easy control and connectivity

The SV-250’s streamlined control box clips to your belt or another convenient location. Use it to tweak your sound with a volume control and 2-band EQ, while you monitor through headphones with independent volume control. The Silent Violin Pro features a line output for sending your signal to an amplifier or effects unit, as well as a balanced XLR output for running straight into a PA or console.

Natural sound and playability

If you play a traditional violin, you’ll enjoy the SV-250. It weighs roughly the same, and its tailpiece, neck, and tuning pegs are identical — you can even use a standard shoulder rest! Its chambered body yields a deep resonance that comes remarkably close to an acoustic violin and provides a familiar, intimate playing feel.
